Who We Are
The professional men and women of Blythe Construction, Inc. have literally paved the way for hundreds of public and private heavy-highway projects that have supported the Southeast's rise to prominence. We currently have over 30 private and public contracts in North and South Carolina. Our resume includes I-85 Design-Build projects in both Charlotte and Rowan County, NC, two sections of the massive I-485 outer-loop in Charlotte, and private site development projects with top developers and businesses such as Target and Wal-Mart. Aside from construction, our asphalt division is the largest supplier of asphalt product in the area.
Our Company Culture
Since the company began in 1921, Blythe Construction has grown into one of the largest heavy highway companies in the Southeast. But no matter how much we expand, we will always run our business like a family. Our company culture can be described through our values. We value community involvement, safety, honesty and integrity and we expect our employees to do the same. We want our people to strive to be the best at what they do, but we also understand that we all have lives outside the office. We expect our people to be treated with respect.
